ZACK SNYDER FILMOGRARHY BY METASCORE

Hello so today we will have a look at how well Mr Zack Snyder has fared as far as metacritic scores are concerned. Obviously that would prove nothing as everyone knows that Zack Snyder hasn't really ever been a critical favourite but it would be interesting to analyze how well he fared!!!

So lets Start!!!

So lets go from the start the debut film of Zack Snyder and probably one of his most well received film, Dawn of the dead was gory fun and pretty well executed and its also quite a dissapointment that Snyder never tried this genre again like ever again, maybe now he will think about it. The film though one of his better received film critically was never really a critical favourite and it divided critics upto a good extent.

Moving on we have his 2nd film which is "300" the gory action flick which once again divided critics massively. The film received both acclaim and got panned at the same time. Nonethless again this is one of Zack Snyder's better reviewed flicks. A full blown Rated R gory fest, 300 was great fun.

Ok so now this is my personal favourite from Mr Snyder's filmography, Way before "Justice League" Zack Snyder directed "Watchmen", the film once again divided critics though received positive reviews overall a rare for a snyder flick but performed rather poorly at the boxoffice due to rather unknown characters. Watchman was dark, gritty and gory fun.

I am presuming not many would be familiar with the fact that Snyder directed a family animated film in-between his filmography but he actually did and did a pretty decent job with it. The film fared decently from critics but was really nothing special to write home about.

So this one takes the cake probably the worst film Snyder has ever directed, I remember being hyped for it and when it got severely panned from critics i still went to watch it only to be shockingly dissapointed about how bad it actually was to sit through, Just pathetic.

So just after the disaster that was named "Sucker Punch" Snyder returned with probably the biggest film of his career, the much awaited "Man Of Steel". Now i personally enjoyed the film pretty much and i believe Mr Zack Snyder did a pretty gud job with it but unfortunately the film was completely forgettable and felt a tad long so it wasn't surprising to see that like most of Snyder flicks this one also divided the critics who appreciated the visual aspects but criticized the story among a number of other criticisms which also included a thin plot.

Seemingly Dc believed in Zack Snyder and gave him "Batman Vs Superman" the film which which supposedly started any future crossovers introducing the new batman and also wonder woman with Jesse Eisenberg playing the main villian. The film was all but supposed to be Dc's first $1 billion grosser and came in with massive pre-release expectations. Following a strong debut that set new boxoffice records, the film experienced a historic drop in its second weekend and never recovered. Critically it received generally unfavourable reviews from critics for its tone, screenplay and pacing, though some praised its visual style and acting performances the film was still a massive dissapointment though a lot of Dc fans would love to disagree with this fact.

So finally to wrap it all we have the most recent "Justice League" which went through a lot of reshoots with the former Avengers director "Joss Whedon" taking over to probably correct what was wrong or to add his own dimension. Whatever the case was "Justice League" was "THE" Dc film to introduce multiple popular charcters in a single film. The film ending up "nearly" bombing in North America with around half collections as compare to "Batman Vs Superman" though it did made up a lot of ground overseas but that was not enough as to until now on a budget of $300 million it has done a business of only $652 million which is less than the earlier arrived "Wonder Woman" flick. Critically though better received than "Batman Vs Superman" the film's tone met with a polarized reception, while some found the tone lighter than previous Dc installments, others found it inconsitent. Personally I liked it just upto some extent.
